Thank Goodness it’s that time again, and we’re back bigger and better with our first ever 2-day family friendly festival!

The 8th ‘Sand Cider Festival’ 

Friday 27th August

As in previous years we will be nestled in our beautiful cider orchard overlooking Tealham Moor and Glastonbury Tor at Ashgrove Farm, Wedmore, Somerset. BS28 4XF

Activities: 

As well as this amazing line up there will be cooking demos, wellness activities, family fun and lots, lots more running throughout the festival, with a selection of pop up food vendors and a fully stocked bar serving a wide range of spirits and locally produced beers and ciders, including of course, our very own ‘OLD JOLLOP’!

Don’t be put off by the Great British weather as we have a large marquee 🎪 if it rains!🌦

A donation of the profits from the festival will be made to the Somerset and Dorset Air Ambulance!

Due to the popularity of the festival in 2019 we are only selling PRE-SOLD TICKETS ONLY and tickets numbers will be limited.

Weekend Tickets:

Adult Ticket (18 yrs +) : £45 + booking fee
Youth Ticket (12-17yrs): £20 + booking fee
Children (under 12 yrs): FOC + booking fee

Friday Only Tickets:

Adult Ticket (18 yrs +) : £25 + booking fee
Youth Ticket (12-17yrs): £15 + booking fee
Children (under 12 yrs): FOC + booking fee

Saturday Only Tickets:

Adult Ticket (18 yrs +) : £35 + booking fee
Youth Ticket (12-17yrs): £15 + booking fee
Children (under 12 yrs): FOC + booking fee

Camping:

Camping: £15 + booking fee (per night)

  • Pitch Only – No Camping Equipment Provided
  • Includes access to portable toilets

Additional Information/Terms & Conditions:

  • The organisers of the event retain the right to refuse entry at any time during the festival
  • Pre-purchased, Digital tickets only
  • All adult tickets require photo ID (18+)
  • 2 Youth’s tickets per adult max. Youth tickets will not be sold individually.
  • 2 Children’s ticket per adult max. Children’s tickets will not be sold individually.
  • All under 18’s must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian at all times during the festival.
  • Festival site opens on Friday 27th August at 4pm
  • No admission after 10pm
  • Return entry until 10pm with wristband only
  • Bag searches conducted
  • No dogs/pets allowed.
  • No outside food or drink (unless for medical reasons and has been agreed with the organisers beforehand)
  • Free drinking water provided. Bottled water must be sealed or will be disposed of.
  • Our bar will operate via tokens. No cash or cards will be accepted. Festival goers are encouraged to bring cash in case of technical issues
  • Challenge 25 policy in effect
  • Event is family-friendly. Zero tolerance policy in effect regarding anti-social behaviour
  • Fireworks, Lanterns and balloons are not permitted on the festival site at any time
  • Sorry no refunds. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.

PARKING:

  • Free parking – must have ticket
  • Sleeping in car requires valid caravan or motorhome pitch with must be purchased online in advance

CAMPING:

  • Camping tickets do not include entry to the festival
  • Camping only ticket purchases will be cancelled
  • Campers to arrive on Friday between 11am& 7pm (7pm last admission) and Saturday between 11am -5 pm (5pm last admission)
  • Groups must arrive at the same time in order to camp next to each other.
  • No fires allowed in camp site. Gas stoves are allowed.
  • Larger motorhomes or campervans with awnings require 2 pitches
  • No outside alcohol into festival – small personal amount allowed within the campsite
  • Light refreshments allowed on camp site only.
  • No tents allowed in Caravan/Motorhome area
  • All vehicles must leave by 12pm on Sunday 29th August
  • Access to portable toilets included

PHOTOGRAPHY & FILMING:

All professional photography or filming MUST be authorised by Ashgrove Farm Produce LTD®, The Sand Cider Festival® and Old Jollop®. No professional photography or filming can take place in any area of Ashgrove Farm, under any circumstances, without an assigned representative from Ashgrove Farm Produce LTD® present. Use of Ashgrove Farm Produce LTD®, The Sand Cider Festival® and Old Jollop® brand names, photography, videography, Ashgrove Farm Produce LTD®, The Sand Cider Festival® and Old Jollop® images and any Ashgrove Farm Produce LTD®, The Sand Cider Festival® and Old Jollop® (or associated) logos including trademarks or trade names requires the prior written consent of Ashgrove Farm Produce LTD®, The Sand Cider Festival® and Old Jollop®. None of the aforementioned can be used by any other entity for any commercial purpose. Members of Ashgrove Farm Produce LTD®, The Sand Cider Festival® and Old Jollop® staff and Ashgrove Farm Produce LTD®, The Sand Cider Festival® and Old Jollop® uniforms or part thereof cannot be used in the photography or filming and no staff role can be impersonated for the purposes of the photography or filming. COVID:

  • Covid restrictions may be in place at the time of the event as per government guidelines.
  • In the event of cancellation due to covid or other unforeseen circumstances the event will be rescheduled and replacement tickets will be issued.
